|
A virtual reality simulation about making breakfast.
Platform: VR / Oculus Rift Engine: Unity Role: Programmer / Designer Development: Jam |
A virtual reality simulation, users interact through the use of hand tracking technologies. The simulation allows for toasting bread, frying eggs & brewing tea.
Description:
Made in four days for the 2014 Leap Motion 3D Jam. Hand tracking using a Leap Motion Controller mounted on the front of the Oculus Rift DK2. My focus for this jam was largely on the visual aspects, as it is very important for virtual reality games to look good. I also spent a large amount of jam time playing around and experimenting with the Oculus Rift, because it was my first experience of using & developing with virtual reality.
Personal Responsibilities:
- Oculus Rift Integration
- Leap Motion Controller hand interaction with objects
- Modelling of 3D assets
- Worked with Unity's built in particle editor to create stylized fluids
